THE REFUGEE: Exodus of Kashmiri Pandits

Namaskar! This book “Refugee: Exodus of Kashmiri Pandits” is written with many of own experiences as went through during last 3 decades. Dedicated to my father Late Sh. B. L. Sahib (Koul) and my mother Smt. Asha Sahib, who both been strength behind my exploring new horizons beyond valley, while they try brought us up during/post exodus extremes! Although word “Refugee” relates to cross nations, found it apt rather migrant, since valley was always like some separate nation for us during all our forced exoduses (to root out our foot prints, originally a land of Rishism & Shivaism). It is indeed painful to relive the moments as we try to move on, but it is equally important to showcase the poise, we had as a community, to face this turmoil. This book gives insight into fundamentalist forces getting together with our systematic forced exodus rather any secular fabric prevail there as portrayed many times. Book is also a mark of respect to each member of erstwhile generation. Those all who left us in these displaced years with pain of unfulfilled hopes of any return to their watan “homeland”…..
